Classic Cheesy Toona Melt

Ingredients

2 slices of fresh bread of your choice

1 can Sophie's Kitchen Sea Salt Toona
-
2 slices of plant-based cheese of your choice (should be a meltable kind!)

Plant-based butter of your choice (optional)

1 green onion, chopped
Preparation

Preheat oven to 400°.

Thoroughly drain 1 can of Toona
-
In a large bowl mix the Toona, mayo, chopped onion and lemon juice.

Butter one side of each bread slice. Top an unbuttered side with a few scoops of the Toona salad.
-
Top that with a few thin slices of tomato, 2 slices of cheese and close with another slice of bread.
-
Carefully place in the oven on a baking sheet.
-
Bake for 5-8 mins or until cheese is melted.
